I had the pleasure of having Sam for my 7th Grade Science Teacher at Valley Point in the 60's, and later in the 90's he was our Insurance Agent at Diamond Carpets, he remembered me after all those years! I would still run into him at the Post Office in Chatsworth after Mohawk acquired Diamond. Rest in peace Sam, Prayers for your family.

Sam was a wonderful and loyal church member. He was a backbone of the church for longer than Kirby and I have attended. He always spoke to everyone, was at every meeting and he will be greatly missed. We are very sorry for your loss.

I THINK I WAS ONE OF MR. B'S FIRST STUDENTS WHEN HE STARTED TEACHING AT VALLEY POINT SCHOOL IN DALTON, HE WAS A SEVENTH GRADE TEACHER, WE LOVED HIM. MY CONDOLENCE.

Sam was a great teacher....he was my 7th grade teacher. He later became a friend. He will be greatly missed. My prayers are with the entire family.

We are so sorry to hear of Mr. Sam's passing. He was a wonderful, kind man with a sweet Christian heart. He was always so good to our family at CFUMC, and we will miss him greatly. Our prayers are with Ms. Lou and the rest of the family. I'm sorry we can't be there on Monday. Love and prayers from the Burns family in Wrens, GA.
