Mr. Hammett was one of my favorite teachers. He taught us a lot more than sixth grade math. He is a fine example of how a man should strive to live his life.

Brother Leroy lead by example. He loved Jesus Christ and is now being rewarded for all his years of service. The completion of this life and a realization of God's love of him. He is rejoicing. Will see you again my friend, brother in Christ.

I've known Mr Hammett for 46 years. I attended Dawnville Elementary. I always thought the world of this man he was so kind, generous, gentle, and so much more. Beautiful family that meant so much to him. Rest in peace my friend, and we shall meet again.

Uncle LeRoy was one of the kindest people you could ever hope to meet. We will miss his warm smile and the twinkle in his eye here on earth, but you know they are celebrating and rejoicing in heaven today!
