Thomas Clyde Mashburn

Mr.  Thomas Clyde Mashburn age 77 of Chatsworth passed away at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was a member of Shining Light Baptist Church and a retired truck driver for Beaulieu.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Rowa and Iva Lee Mashburn, brothers, Clifford and Earl Mashburn and a son Charles Douglas Mashburn.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Catherine Coleman Mashburn, children, Sandra Mashburn Rymer, Bobby Mashburn both of Chatsworth, and Leroy Mashburn of Resaca. Grandchildren, Kimberly Faye Bowen of Chatsworth, Holli Parker Flowers of Morganton, and Logan Mashburn of Dalton. Great Grandchildren, Trenten, Wyatt and Hadlie Flowers all of Morganton. Brother and sisters in law, Junior and Jean Mashburn of Morganton, Howard and Irene Mashburn of Blue Ridge, Robert and Faye Mashburn of Eton. Sister in law, Tressie Mashburn of Blue Ridge, Sister and brother in law, Ruth and Tommy Townsend of Ocoee, TN. Several nieces and nephews also survive..

Funeral Services will be Tuesday 3 pm from the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Tallent,  Rev. Chad Mashburn and Rev. Robert Mashburn officiating.  Interment will follow in the Center Valley Cemetery.  The family will recieve friends at the funeral home Monday 5 till 9 pm.
