Roland Lanar Welch

Mr. Roland Lanar Welch, age 52, of Dalton, passed away on December 4, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Welch was an honest and hardworking man. Many people knew him and he was well respected in the community.  So many loved him and he helped keep everyone COOL...Literally!  He will be surely missed by his beloved wife and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents Roland M and Hazel B.Welch.

He is survived by his loving wife: Cindy Welch, sons and daughter in law:  Mykel Welch of Dalton, Joshua and Katherine Welch of Chatsworth, daughters: Jessica Ann Chastain, Natasha Ruth Myers both of Dalton, grand children: Eric Welch and Jackson Welch of Chatsworth and Avery Welch of Dalton, brothers: Phil Welch and Dwight Welch of Dalton and Melvin Welch of Smith Station, Alabama.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Service for Mr. Welch will be Wednesday, at 1 pm in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Gary McPherson officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 until 9 PM.
