Mr. J. V. Silvers, age 86, of Crandall, passed away on August 15, 2017 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his wife: Nena Josephine Silvers, brothers: B. W. Silvers and Teen Silvers
He is survived by children and spouses: Robin and Dalene Silvers of Dalton, Mickey and Angie Silvers of Chatsworth, grandchildren: Dylan Silvers and Fiance Brooke Davenport, Sara and Kirkland Bowman, Madison Silvers, Jonathan Silvers, brother in law: Leeman Ballew of Ellijay. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral service for Mr Silvers will be Friday at 3 pm in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Robin Silvers and George Bryant officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 9 on Thursday. Interment will be in Murray Memorial Garden with Dalton American Legion providing Military Honors.
