Fred William Rabensdorf

Fred W Rabensdorf Age 85 born in January 1930 in Fairchild, WI to Frederick J & Ada M (Chantrill) Rabensdorf passed away peacefully August 18.

Fred was united in marriage on July 6, 1953 to Ardis L. Baures daughter of Arthur & Ethel. Very proud to have attended grade school at the Rabensdorf School. Attended Fairchild high school and attended college at River Falls before being drafted in the Army. He worked as a fireman and engineer on the Chicago North Western Railroad for 20 years and never lost his love for railroading.

Fred began his own business Fred's Electric in Windsor, WI. He was the Scout Master for Windsor WI Boy Scout troop 155 for many years. He loved to grill and cook outdoor on many family camping trips to Wyocena and Canada. He accepted the opportunity to move to Adairsville, GA with Evco Plastics in Calhoun, GA from which he retired in 2008.

He is survived by his seven children Fred, Rick, Nancy, Jane (Kendall) Frederick, Audrey (David) Neupert, Joseph, Andrew (Holli); grandchildren: Justin (Becky), Joshua (Kristen) (Rabensdorf), Logan, Amanda (Rabensdorf-Miller), Adam, Benjamin, Anna (Frederick), Clara, William, Jack (Neupert),Haygen and Hollan (Rabensdorf), nephew Dale (Karen) Zank. He was preceded in death by his wife Ardis, his parents, sister Elizabeth (Beth) and brother-in-law Oliver Zank, and niece Janice Zank.

A private burial will be held at a later date in Wisconsin.
