Mrs. Donna Kay McIntyre Peace, Age 51 of Calhoun Georgia, passed away Friday, March 27th, at Hutchison Medical Center in Fort Oglethorpe Georgia.
Donna was born in Floyd County Georgia on July 16th, 1963 to the late Terry and Barbara McIntyre. On March 14, 1981 she married Kenneth Larry Peace of Cartersville Georgia, raising their family in Armuchee Georgia. She is preceded in death by her father, Terry McIntyre of Rome Georgia, two infant children, and her grandparents.
Donna is survived by: three children, Jeremy Peace of Ringgold Georgia, Joey Peace of Calhoun Georgia and Jennifer Peace of Calhoun Georgia. Four grandchildren, Abigail, Rachel, and Elizabeth Peace and Jasmine Hall. Her Mother, Barbara Hugueley of Shannon Georgia, two sisters, Debra Cook(Gary) of Armuchee Georgia and Terri England(William) of Dalton Georgia. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends also survive.
Services for Mrs. Donna Kay McIntyre Peace will be conducted on Tuesday, March 31, at 2:00 pm at Salem Baptist Church, 1501 McDaniel Station Rd, SW. Calhoun Georgia, 30701 with Rev. Jeremy Peace and Pastor Keith Reid officiating. Internment will follow in Morning View Cemetery in Floyd County Ga. beside her best friend, her father Terry McIntyre. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday, March 30th 2015 from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
Former Kingsmen Quartet lead vocalist Tim Surrett, past members of the Glory Land Travelers along with Jeremy and Joey Peace and The Old Paths Quartet will be providing the music.
Pallbearers include Kenneth Peace, Justin Hall, Marvin Wright, William England, Gary Cook and James Adcock.
