Mrs. Peggy Ann "Poteet" Parker, age 76 of Dalton, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015 in the Erlanger Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James David and Louise Poteet, and a sister Betty Jo Ponders.
Survivors include her husband, Hugh Don Parker. Son and Daughter in law, Eddie and Kim Parker of Dalton. Grandchildren and spouse, Michael Parker of Chatsworth, Misty and Eric Viars of Dalton. Great grandchildren, Dylan Viars and Rylan Viars both of Dalton. Two brothers, David Poteet of Chatsworth and Larry Poteet of Dalton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be Monday July 20, 2015 at 2 pm at the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funral Home with Larry Woodson and Susan Tankersley officiating. Interment will follow in the United Memorial Gardens. The family will recieve friends at the funeral home Sunday 3 pm till 8 pm.
