Lisa,
You don't know me, you may have heard of me. My name is Michael Duffy. I knew Dean for almost 35 years. You may have heard stories about the Margate City Yacht Club. That is where Dean and I met. Dean was a very good friend of mine and he was closer to me than my own brothers. I tried to keep in touch with him from time to time he would respond sometimes.
I just found out about his passing. I am truly sorry for your loss. I am in shock he found our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am pleased he did and I am happy to know he had a loving wife in you.
Please feel freeg to contact me at mikepduffy1963@hotmail.com if you wish.
Once again I am so sorry for your loss.
Michael

What a joy it was to know, be with, and work with Dean during the restoration of two former Wabash Pullman cars here in New Orleans.
When I suggested taking the path of least resistance in refurbishing the cars that was totally unacceptable to Dean and therein was his "gift".
With Dean God was in the details and he went to great lengths to ensure that even God would be impressed.
How blessed I was to have known Dean and I will miss him dearly.
To Ms. Lisa I offer my deepest sympathy!!
May God Bless & be with you!

Lisa -

My heart is completely broken over the loss of your beloved Dean. The two of you shared a bond and a love that few people get to experience in their lifetime. Please know that you are not alone during this difficult time...not only do you have God's love and the love of your family and friends, but Dean is now your guardian angel and will be watching over you for the rest of your life. I love you, sweet girl and I am so very sorry.

Dean was a good friend who allowed me to experience not one, but two, "train trips of a lifetime". I always enjoyed our long telephone conversations!!! He was just the best!!! I will always miss him. Always! My sincere sympathies to his entire family.

Lisa - Dean's passing is a great personal loss. He was a great resource and inspiration for those of us who find life's passion with Private Cars and all things Pullman. He will be greatly missed. I share your grief but I rejoice in his accepting our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Messiah, the Christ. I know you take great comfort in his salvation. I only wish he had known the blessings of acceptance of his Messiah earlier in life - how wonderful it is that you brought him not only love but saving grace.
