Clarence was my friend. Have not seen him in a long time. He and I worked on the same squad on the Macon Police Department back in the 70's. He was a fine Christian man and just a good guy. I pray God's comfort and strength to his dear family. My friend Jeff Tye and your family, may God give you peace. We will see Clarence again in glory one day. Praise the Lord.

Dear Family,
I am so sorry to hear of this; seems just like yesterday we were all kids playing ball. The Tyes were childhood neighbors and friends--we all stuck together growing up. Words are hard to find in a situation like this but do know we are sending prayers for all of you. Clarence was one of the best "ball chasers"- we abused him by sending him to get the balls we missed. If we can do anything for anyone of you just let me know.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Uncle Clarence was truly a special man. I loved him dearly and am sorry I can't be there to support you. We know that we will see him again one day.
