Omg i just seen where Joy had passed away she was one of my best friends...she use to watch me when i was lil...her sister Diane was my moms best friend and when i was born i was named after her....i love you Joy my you rest in peace...i will see you again one day

Just want to say how very sorry I am to the whole family. I worked with Joy At Chatsworth Nursing Home a few ago and in that time we became close friends. She was such a sweet, kind, loving friend. After she left the nursing home we kinda lost touch with each other but I will always remember the fun times we had at the nursing home. May you rest in peace my sweet friend!! You finally gained your Angel wings, so now you can sing with the angels in heaven!! You will be greatly missed and never forgotten!!

I remember us being very close when we were kids. Ralph worked for the school and they lived right in front of it. We would play on the playground, in the gym and inside the school.
I remember when she had Tameka. She was the most beautiful little girl. She had such an awesome smile just like Joy.
We are only 23 days apart in age. We had been trying to reconnect but never found the time and now it's too late.
I am praying for the family. She will be missed.

WE LOVE Y'ALL AUNT MOMMA JOY WILL BE GREATLY MISSED. I AM SO PROUD TO CALL HER MY AUNT/MOMMA. SHE HAD A GREAT HEART OF GOLD AND DIDN'T JUDGE U. SHE WAS THERE WHEN U NEEDED HER IF SHE COULD BE.
