Aunt Bet was such an inspirational, Godly woman that has been a cornerstone of our family for decades. Any time you had a prayer request, you knew she had a "direct line" straight to God's ear and was one of the first ones you would call. She was a wonderful Mother, Wife, (Preacher's Wife), Aunt, and teacher of God's word. My Mother, LouAnn, spent many years living and singing with Uncle Maurice and his tent-revival meetings and radio programs. It was during a very pivotal point in Mother's life and I believe their leadership and guidance built on the Spiritual foundation that Grandma (Essie Mainer Banks) always instilled into her family. I know they helped mold my Mother into the woman she has been in her life and her love of the Lord never wavered. We always tried to ensure Aunt Bet of the impact she has had on so MANY people and touched their lives so deeply and the love we have all felt for her. I know Aunt Bet has wanted to "go home" for many years, having said many times that she had no idea why God wanted her to stay in this world. She was tired and longed to be back with my Uncle Maurice at the beautiful shores of Heaven, but remained faithfully in obedience with God's will until He decided it was time to take his daughter home. We will always miss Aunt Bet, but we all know she is finally home and Uncle Maurice was shouting and celebrating while greeting her there. Love our whole family and we continue to pray for peace for all of us that are just waiting on God to take us "home" as well.
Love you all,
Amy Harrison

Dear Family,

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. You were so blessed to have this amazing, Godly woman for a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law.

I loved calling her and talking to her. We always talked about the Bible and how we were waiting for the Lord's return. She was such an inspiration in my life. My heart breaks that I will never get to hear her sweet voice again. I rejoice that she is with my Uncle Maurice and Kenny and so many other family members. Our loss is Heaven's gain.

I love all of you
