Native American Prayer for the Grieving
I give you this one thought to keep-
I am with you still- I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on a ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting
rush of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.

I have only known you as a part of my family for a short time but fell in love with you and the rest of the family. I will miss our talks on facebook. I think often of the time you came to Nashville and came out to where i was playing. I will miss you Big Dog and will cherish the memories.
