I was so sorry to learn about Colonel Steadman's passing. She was my chief Nurse at Macdill afb, fl she introduced me to the value of computers in nursing. I am so grateful for the time she spend teaching me about computer applications. Barb and I stayed in touch via email and cards after she retired. in 2014, I stopped hearing from her. Colonel Steadman will forever be in my memories.

the Society of Air Force nurses just learned about the death of our friend and Colleague, Colonel Barbara Steadman. She was a remarkable woman who made a difference in the lives of so many in her journey through life. As a long-time member of our Society, a donation will be made in her memory to the Women In Military Service for America Memorial Foundation. The Women's Memorial stands at the entrance to Arlington National Cemetery. Barbara has been missed, and she will not be forgotten by the community of Air Force nurses.

I am so sorry to hear of Barbara's death. I lost track of her since we were both stationed at Tyndal AFB,Florida. I've tried many times to find her and Bonnie. She was one of my favorite playmates and cousins when I was growing up. She was a good friend to me when we were in Florida.. A great comfort as a nurse when I had some surgical procedures done. Although it's been years since I have had any contact, I will miss her. My condolence to Bonnie and children.

We are so sorry to learn about the passing away of Barbara June, our cousin. We know this will be a difficult time. Know, please, that you will be in our thoughts as well as our prayers as you go through these days. Our Lord is gathering our family and we look toward the day of our Heavenly Reunion when the circle will once again be unbroken. May the great Comforter give you peace until that time. With love from Ruth and Libby
