Larry Gene Bates, age 75, of Chatsworth, went home to be with the rest of his family on January 16, 2025.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Shirley Bates; brothers, Max, Joe, Franky, and Bill Bates, ; sisters Betty Cross, Monda Dotson.
He is survived by his love Terry Rhoten; daughter, Paula Lynn Elliott; stepdaughters, Kim Wilcox, and Jessica Freeman brothers, David and Steve Bates; sister, Janie Bates; and lots of grandchildren and friends.
He was a loving father, grandfather, and stepfather.
At His request, there will be no memorial service at this time.
