William L. Byers Obituary

William L. “Bill” Byers, Sr. age 93, of Ringgold, GA, formally of Phoenix,
AZ passed away at his residence on Saturday, September 17, 2022.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Byers; father, Fred Byers,
Sr; son, William L. Byers, Jr; brother, Fred Byers, Jr, and sister, Ruth
Varner.
He is survived by his daughters, Karen Erickson of Clearwater, FL, Dory Byers,
Sylva, NC; stepchildren, Tony Tucker (Cindy) of Lookout Mountain, GA,
Cindy Cashon (Randy) and Shawn Tucker (Rhonda) both of Ringgold,
GA; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, and
nephews, also survive.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Hospice of
Chattanooga, and Preferred Care at Home for the excellent care that
was given to their Dad.
Military service will be at 10 am at the Chattanooga National Cemetery on October 6, 2022.
