Mr. Warren Lee Carter Sr., age 80, of Chatsworth, GA. passed away Sunday morning, December 14, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was a loving father and husband who cherished his loved ones, his friends, and his pets. He was a Mason for many years. He loved to play golf and fish when he was able.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Geneva Carter, his parents, Charles Warren and Sarah Carter; sons, Charles Wayne Carter, and Darrel Carter, daughter, Lorie Ann Carter Flority; and brother Jim Carter.
He is survived by his sister, Mary Ellen Carter, sons, Warren Lee Carter Jr. and Marvin Lee Carter; stepdaughter, Brenda Welch; and stepson, Jeff Welch.

A service to honor the life of Warren Lee Carter will be on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 12 pm, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home, with Andrew Corbin officiating, Masconic Gravesite, performed by the 43rd Tri -Cunty Masconic Memorial Team.  The interment will take place in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
