Obituary

James "Travis" Mitchell, age 72, passed away on January 25, 2021, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Travis loved the lord above all else. He was a supportive, loving & loyal husband, father, brother, son & papaw. He always worked the hardest. He could do anything he set his mind to.  He enjoyed gardening & poking fun at his friends & family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Milo and Eva Mitchell: brothers, H.L. Mitchell and   Albert Mitchell.

Survivors include his loving wife of 17 years, Joyce Mitchell: son. and daughter in law, Chris and Laurel Mitchell: daughter, Penny Mitchell, and Ben Tillotson, daughter, and son in law, Alaicia "Suzanne" and  Augustine Gomez: grandchildren: Christopher and Bridget Mitchell, Jacob and Kody Mitchum, Elizabeth and Rodney Ray, Melaine Reyna Gomez: great-grandson, Maverick James Owen Ray, brother and sister in law Doyle and Lorrie Mitchum: sister, Susie and Gerry Crider.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.
