Steven Ruel Weaver, age 63, passed away Monday, May 11, 2020, at his residence

Mr. Weaver was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Myrtle Weaver: brothers, Donald Weaver and Jarrell Weaver.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Wilma Weaver: son, Preston Weaver of Chatsworth: grandson, Tryg Weaver of Chatsworth: sisters-in-law and brother in law Glenda Weaver, and Elizabeth Weaver, Minnie and Bob Anderson, Shirley and Danny Jones, Kathy and Benny Holloway, Connie and Terry Shepherd, Marilyn and Tim Silvers, Shelia, and Dean Baker. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Services for Mr. Weaver will be Friday, May 15, 2020, at 11;00 am in the Chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Aaron Stanley officiating. Interment will be in Stanley Cemetery in Blue Ridge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 14, 2020, from 5 PM to 9 PM.
