Steve David Stanley went to be with the Lord on July 28, 2026.

He is preceded in death by his parents Carl and Lovella Stanley.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Patricia Ann Stanley; children, Steven Urcle Stanley, Lisa(Dewayne) Newport, David Lynn Stanley, and Tricia(Kelly) Morrison; grandchildren Andrew(Lauren) Martin, Taylor(Brian) Trout, Patricia(Colton) Miles, Michael Lee Anthony Stanley, Augustus McCray Stanley, Sidney Montana Faye Baynes, Monty(Carmenlita) Stanley, and Tyler Morrison; great grandchildren Gunner, Brenleigh, Cannon, Clayton, Dawson, Elijah, Abigail, Camilla, and Kyrie; and siblings JoAnn, Carlene, Leonard, Kenneth, Linda, Clinton, Clifford, Lewis, Donny, and Earl.

He loved music and playing the guitar.

A service to honor the life of Steve David Stanley will be held on August 1, 2026 at 6pm in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on August 1, 2026 from 11am to 6pm. In lieu of flowers please make donations toward funeral expenses at Shawn Chapman Funeral Home.
