Mr. Stephen “Steve “Lee Howard Jr., age 89, of Chatsworth passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at his residence.

He served proudly in the United States Airforce during the Korean Conflict. He worked for many years in the carpet industry retiring from Mannington Mills.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lee Howard; mother, Jessie Webb; sister, Dorothy Bishop; brother, Junior Howard.

Survivors include. Loving wife, Wanda Howard; children and spouses, Mike Howard and Lynn Howard of Chatsworth Deana and Chris Hensley of Calhoun; grandchildren and spouses, Aaron Chambers, Jordan Jenkins, Noelle, and Cody Cox; great-grandchildren, Kaiden and Lily; brothers, William Howard and David Howard; sisters, Betty Elrod and Patsy Flood; several nieces and nephews and cousins also survive.

A graveside service to honor the life of Steve Howard will be Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 11 am at Serenity Hills Memorial Park with Terry Hensley officiating. 
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 23, 2023, from 5 pm to 8 pm
