Shirley Cockburn Obituary

Mrs. Shirley Cockburn, age 83, of Crandall, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Lizzy Cockburn: sisters, Lula Nichols, Grace Talley, Viola Cooper, Willie Ella Maddron, Mamie Walker: brothers, John Cockburn, Ray Cockburn, Dennis Cockburn and Marshall Cockburn.

Survivors include one daughter, Angela Walker: grandchildren, Lonnie and Aaron Harkins, Toria and Christopher Bowers: great-grandchildren, Sophie and Adalyann Yarber: her special boys, Michael Dudley, Jerry Kendrick, Toby Green: sister, Essie Cockburn, Mattie Ledford, and Ivy Headrick. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

The funeral service will be on Wednesday, November 10, at 2 PM in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Junior Williams and Michael Ratcliff officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Sumac Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 AM until the funeral hour
