Sarah Ford, age 87 passed away on September 12, 2020.
She is preceded in death, by her husband Franklin D. Perry: parents, John and Mary Moore: great-granddaughter, Autumn Perry sisters. Cindy Moore, Clara Moore, Ada Bayse: brothers, Patrick Moore, Arvil Moore, Harry Moore, Marvin Moore, Curtis Moore,
Sarah was survived by her large loving family which contained two sets of five generations: daughters and sons in law Lavada and Albert Pursley of Dunlap TN, Lona Perry of Dalton, Mary and David Cross of Chatsworth, Sharon Harris of Chatsworth, Linda, and Sammy Hooker of Rocky Face, Sarah and James Sanderlin of Chatsworth Frankie and Martin Franco of Dalton: son and daughter in law David and Deborah Perry of Dalton. sister and spouse Ruth and James Mitchell of Ohio: 29 grandchildren and 59 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren several nieces and nephews also survive.
The children wanted to say she was the best mother in the world to raise and care for 8 children.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all the people who worked at Quinton Memorial.
Service for Sarah will be Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at 11:00 AM at the Old Fashion Baptist Church 885 Ben Adams Road Chatsworth GA 30705 with Rev. Craig Glover officiating
The family will be receiving friends Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at the funeral home from 5 PM to 9 PM.
