Sara Frances (Vest) Green

Sara Frances Green, age 83, of Chatsworth, passed away Sunday, August,27,2023.

We celebrate a life of kindness and generosity, of  84 years that included being a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend.

Sara was sensitive yet strong. She had difficult times in her life but was always there when she was needed and took care of many others. She was honest and intelligent. Though she wasn’t a comedian herself, she loved to laugh and had a good sense of humor. She traveled but preferred home, her favorite movie was Gone with the Wind, and she loved God. There is no doubt she believed she would go home to Heaven, following Jesus forever. She went peacefully with no doubt where she was going; knowing she would be joining her sons, husband, and other preceding family to experience true joy in Heaven.

We thank her for all she shared with us and carry her on in loving memory. She would say thank you to all those who brought her life happiness, whether for a moment or a lifetime.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2023, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Bobby Green officiating. The interment will be at The Tenga Baptist Church Cemetery.
