Ruth Cochran Obituary

Ruth Cochran, age 79 of Chatsworth, went home to be with the lord on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Ruby Finley; siblings, James and Jody Finley, Linda Bartelle, and Shirley Jobson: grandson, Matthew Wellborn; son-in-law, David Turner.

She is survived by her loving husband, James Cochran; children and spouses, Sheila Turner, Johnny Wellborn (Mayra), Billy Ray Wellborn (Tammy), Dorothy Green (Steve); grandchildren Scott, Christopher, and Shaun Pack, Erica Hedden, Ashley Turner, Michael Wellborn, Erick Locke; brother, Robert Finley; sister Betty Sue Farve, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate the life of Ruth Cochran will be at 2 pm Saturday, April 27, 2024, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Jaimie Harper officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 pm to 2 pm on Saturday, April 27, 2024.
