Robert Lee Thompson "RL" age 83 passed away peacefully on February 18, 2021, at his daughter's residence. R.L. was a Korean-era United States Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue Thompson: infant daughter Bobbie Sue Thompson: mother Virgie Brooks, father Clint Thompson: sister Pauline Vines.

He is survived by his children Johnny and Laurie Knutson, Beverly and Herbert Harris, Patty and Ronnie Duckett: 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at Georgia National Cemetery.
