Robert Edward “Ed” Dunn, age 80, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024

Ed worked in the carpet industry for many years, he was a carpet executive for Coronet Carpet Mills and Galaxy Carpet Mills and a long-time employee of Carpets of Dalton and Beckler’s Carpet.

He is preceded in death by his son, Mark Dunn; parents, Pat and Trenna Dunn; sisters, Peggy Knowles, and Carolyn Edwards.

Ed is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jane Dunn; sons Brad Dunn of Dalton, Andy Dunn of Indian Harbor Beach FL, and David Dunn of Atlanta GA; daughter-, in-laws, Anita Dunn of Villanow, and Kristi Dunn of Venice FL; grandchildren, Katie Vath (Stephen) of Dalton, Taylor Dunn of Savannah GA, Hailey Dunn, Delray Beach FL, Kolbey Dunn of New York City NY, and Kennedi Dunn of Orlando Fl; great-grandsons Noah and Bowen Vath; nieces, Suzanne Hemphill, Laura Roberts, LeAnn Knowles, and Brianne Stafford; nephew, Brian Knowles, and Patrick Knowles; sister in law Linda Boyd His beloved fur baby, Abby; 
A visitation to celebrate the life of Ed Dunn will be Wednesday, May 8, 2024, from 5 pm to 7:30 pm.
