Robert Chapman Obituary

Robert E. Chapman, age 81 passed away on December 24, 2020, at Floyd County Medical Center in Rome GA.

Mr. Chapman is preceded in death by his wives, Judy Witten, Bille Ruth Chapman: daughter, Paula Chapman: granddaughter Amy White: brothers, Hershel Chapman, David Lewis, Jimmy Lewis, Travis Chapman, mother, Delanie Lewis: father Merle Chapman.

Robert is survived by his son, Bobby Chapman: daughter, Jackie Hejda: daughter and son in law, JoJo, and Wesley Noland: grandchildren, Derek Chapman, Danielle Chapman, Chris Southerland, Cassie McEntire, and Zoie Noland: 8 great-grandchildren: brothers and sisters-in-laws Dennis and Delores Chapman, Claude and Irene Chapman, Grady Lewis: sister and brother-in-laws Faye and Tommy Miles, Kay and Danny Ratcliff: several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services for Mr. Chapman will be Monday, December 28, 2020, at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home, with Rev. Danny Cochran and Rev. Wesley Noland officiating. Interment will be in the New Hope -Kilgore Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Sunday, December 27, 2020, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
