Mr. Robert Eugene Ash age 83 of Chatsworth, GA passed away on December. 1, 2024 at his residence. Mr. Ash is an Army veteran who served in Korea in the early 60’s.

Mr. Ash was preceded in death by his wife Betty Cochran Ash, his parents Andy and Janie Ash, father-in-law Alfonzo “Fonzie” Cochran, and mother-in-law Essie Cohran. siblings, Andrew (Junior) Ash, Evelyn Evans, John Ash, Isacc Ash, James (Jim) Ash, William (Bill) Ash, and Martha Jackson.

His sons and daughters-in-law survive him: Mike and Tammy Ash, Allen and Lesia Ash, daughter Deborah Howard, and daughter and son-in-law Cindy and Johnny White close family friend, more like another son Anthony (Tony) Defore, all of Chatsworth. His grandchildren are Jessica Ash, David Ash, Ryan Ash, Kayla (Tyler) Mitchell, Amy (Kevin) Dyer, Chris (Nikki) Southern, Ashley, (David) Izaguirre, Heather Howard, and Scott Howard. He also has 17 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

A service to honor the life of  Mr. Ash will be held Wednesday, December . 4, 2024 at 2:00 at Mt View Baptist Church with Randy Jackson and Bruce Owens officiating. The interment will be in the Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 5 PM to 8 PM at Shawn Chapman Funeral Home.
