Rita Jo Young

1959-2026
Rita Jo Stanley Young, of Chatsworth Ga, opened her eyes to see Jesus, on May 18th, 2026; after several years of declining health.

Rita was born in Chatsworth Ga, on February 6th, 1959. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frankie Boyd and Bobbie Jo Stanley. Rita was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church.

Rita is survived by her three brothers; Ricky (Betty), Micheal (Lynn), and Russell (Tracy) Stanley. As well as her nieces and nephews; Jacob, Matthew, Nate, Nick, Lacey, Brandon, Brittany, Andrew, Amber, and Anna. Several great nieces and nephews also survive. She loved her family, dearly.

Rita spent a lot of time wanting to live in days past. Per her request, she wanted her long time husband Darrell to know, that she never stopped loving him.

She spent her final days watching videos of her new great niece and great nephew, Violet and Banks. She would watch them over and over, as they gave her so much joy.

Per Rita’s wishes, she will be cremated and laid to rest at Canaanland Baptist Church, between her mom and dad.

There will be no service at this time.
