Ricky Lamar Talley, age 63, passed away Sunday, December 3rd, 2023.

Born in Dalton, GA on July 30th, 1960 to Howard “Bud” Talley and Midred Cagle. Ricky has four brothers, Wallace (Donna), Billy, Dennis, and Gabriel (Pamela) alongside his sisters, Barbara (Chuck) and Geina. 

 He was generous with his time and had a willingness to help. Ricky would never have thought this about himself, but he had a knack for teaching and was a master tinkerer. He could fix just about anything he touched and was full of one-liners that sparked a laugh. Ricky was always available for advice and ready to have fun, even if it required making a bit of mischief.

He is preceded in death by his mother, father, and daughter LaTisha Lancaster. Ricky is survived by his wife, Kim, his son and daughter-in-law, Devin and Kali, and granddaughters: Graylynn, Ember, and Autumn as well as his siblings and dear friends.

Visitation will take place Saturday, December 9th at Shawn Chapman Funeral Home from 4:00 to 6:00 pm with family welcome beginning at 3:00 pm. Shawn Chapman Funeral Home 2362 US-76 Chatsworth, GA 30705
