Ricky "Lobo"; Robertson age 68, of Chatsworth, GA, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2025.
Ricky, known fondly as " Lobo, was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend who touched the hearts of everyone he met. He was a loving and hardworking man, always quick with a joke, a warm smile, and a helping hand. Ricky lived a full and meaningful life, and his legacy will continue through the memories he created with his loved ones. For 42 years, Ricky worked as a long-time truck driver, a job that not only supported his family but allowed him to travel and form lasting friendships across the country. He was also a proud member of the Cisco Baptist Church, where he found comfort and community. Outside of work, Ricky had a passion for motorcycles and spent many hours enjoying the open road. He also ran his own lawn care business, where he took great pride in his work and in serving others.
His son, Michael Robertson, was by his side and helped Ricky in the business, making it a special father-son bond. Ricky’s love for gardening with his wife Rena brought him peace and
joy, and their shared time tending to their garden was a treasured part of his life. Ricky was a family man, and his love for his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-
grandchildren were boundless. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Joe Robertson; his mother, Charlsie Robertson; his stepfather, Jack Robertson; and his stepmother, Joan Robertson.
He is survived by his loving wife: Rena Robertson and children: Gary Robertson (Brandi), Jill Harrison (Brandon), Michael Robertson, Nathan Baggett (Amy), Jared Smith, Nikkie Austin
(Miguel) and the mother of his children Betty Manley Cameron. His legacy also lives on through his grandchildren: Reid Smith, Jessica Robertson, Michaela Moten, Kenneth Balanno, Kaydence
Baggett, Kallen Baggett, Paisleigh Waites, Nolan Baggett, Mason Smith, Tate Smith, Lochlen, Smith, Hagen Stewart, Easton Stewart, Brently Austin, Jordon Austin, Cami Austin, and Micah
Austin. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren: August Stidmon, River Robertson, and Ava Smith. In addition, Ricky is survived by his sisters: Wanda McKeehan and Lynn Santiago.
Along with his loving special aunt Helen Eason.
Ricky’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
A celebration of Ricky "Lobo" Robertson's life will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Shawn Chapman Funeral Home, with Rev. Stephen Smith officiating. The interment will be in the Fairy Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 3, 2024, from 5 PM to 9 PM
