Ricky Gene Dill, Age 67, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025. Ricky was born Oct 24th, 1957, in Dalton, Ga. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and had a love for
camping and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Hartsell and Geneva Nadine Dill, his sister Pamela Nanette Williams, and his beloved wife Brenda Gail Dill.
Ricky is survived by his brothers, Mickey Dill (Gejuan), Junior Dill (Deb), and brother-in-law Robert Williams. his children, Georgia Hickman (Jeremy), Jayson Dill, and Stephen Dill
(Melissa), Kevin Huff (Jennifer), Jeremy Moore (Amy), Crystal Lauer (William), Naomi Payne (Don), Dustin Payne. grandchildren: Tyler Dill, Chandler Hickman, Gage Dill, Cory Dill, Sean
Dill, Brandon Dill, Kayun Young, Chase Huff, Tyson Huff, Madison Moore, Isabell Moore, Quinton Moore, Shanda Payne, Rebecca Lumpkin, Zachary Payne. 16 great-grandchildren
and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service to honor the life of Ricky Gene Dill will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home.
