Mr. Rickey Lee Colter, age 62, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023.
Rickey enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, dart throwing, listening to 80’s music, and enjoying life.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Irene Howard, and Mildred Wilbanks.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Amanda Colter; parents, Billy and Lula Colter; grandchildren, Braydon, Tayla, and Heston Colter; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Mitchell Wilbanks, Marsha and Tim Biddy; nieces and nephews, Dakota, Ashley, Crystal, and Chasity; great-nieces, Nevaeh, Arriana, Ashton, John, Kaylee, and Chase; special companion Miranda Talley.
A funeral service to honor the life of Rickey Colter will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 9, 2023, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Evan Long officiating. The interment will be at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
