Richard "Rick" Alan Davis

Richard Alan “Rick” Davis, age  64, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2023, at The Oaks in Fairmount GA, surrounded by his loving family and the wonderful staff of The Oaks. 
Rick retired from Shaw Industries after 30 years of service, he always considered his co-worker part of his family. He loved the Dodgers baseball team, wrestling, and John Wayne.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred T. and Bonnie Walker Davis; his brother, Steven W. Davis. 
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Dee Davis of Adairsville GA; sister-in-law, Minnie Davis of Chatsworth; nieces and nephews, Warren and Sara Davis of Tarpon Springs FL, Joshua and Kristin Davis of Cartersville, Chandra Robbins, Jessica and David Duncan of Watkinsville; ten great-nieces and nephews, and lots of loving cousins.
A service to honor the life of Rick Davis will be4 pm on Sunday, August 6, 2023, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Beach officiating. The interment will be in the Dawn Rest Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 6, 2023, from 1 pm to 4 pm.
