Richard Tucker Obituary

Mr. Richard Tucker, age 83, of Chatsworth, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at his residence. Richard was a proud member of Smyrna Baptist Church, he sang in the church choir, he truly loved his church.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Sue Tucker; his son, Rickey Lee Slaton.

He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-five years, Julia Tucker: He was the father of eight children and three-step-children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren: several nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral services for Mr.Tucker will be Friday, February 26, 2021, at 4 pm at Smyrna Baptist Church with Rev. Andrew Bowen officiating. Interment will be in the Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 26, 2021, from 12 pm to 3:30 pm
