Reverend A.J. Patterson Obituary

Reverend A.J. Patterson, age 86, of Crandall, passed away at his residence on Thursday, May 27, 2021.

A.J. was preceded in death by his sons, Gary and Danny Patterson, parents: Miley and Georgia Patterson, his brothers J.L. Kirby and little Billy Patterson, sisters Leona Brooke and Lorene Keener, and Grandson Christopher Patterson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Eloise Patterson .daughter and son-in-law Angela Mike Frazier, daughter Patricia Ann Patterson, daughter-in-law Kathy Patterson, sister Myrtle Willis, grandchildren: Shelby and Chad Howard, Emily Frazier, Doug, and Trish Patterson, Adam and Laura Green, and John Patterson. Special Caregiver sister-in-law Betty Patterson. Several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services for Mr. Patterson will be 2 pm Sunday, May 30, 2021, at Fairy Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Frazier and Rev. Lamar Beason officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Shawn Chapman Funeral Home Saturday, May 29, 2021, from 5 to 9 pm.
