Rev. Raymond Donald Charles, age 80, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 27, 2023.
He is preceded in death by his son, Donnie Charles; parents, Valden and Ethel Charles; sister, Lily Dickey; sister-in-law, Barbara Charles; brothers-in-law, Jack Dickey,  John Miller, Charlie Dillard; great-grandchild, Birley Baggett.
He is survived by his daughter, Angie Patterson; sisters and brother-in-law,  Dorothy Miller, Glenda and Thruman Hendrix, Mary Dillard; brother Jerry Charles; grandchildren, Justin and Amber Charles, Alan McIntyre and Tiffany Johnson, Sarah Killough, Amanda Paterson; 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. 
A memorial visitation to honor the life of Rev. Raymond Donald Charles will be Wednesday, March 1, 2023, from 3 pm to 7 pm at the Shawn Chapman Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the funeral home toward his final expenses.
