Rebecca Jane Martin

Rebecca Jane Martin, age 71, of Chatsworth, passed away June 24, 2020, at Hamilton Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Martin: parents, John and Marie Walker: sister Linda Sneed: brother, Allen Walker niece, Becky Sneed.

Rebecca is survived by her children and spouses, Kimberly Brock of Chatsworth: Brandon and Cristy Gibson of Resaca: grandchildren, Brittney Scott, Anthony Owens, Amber Scott,  Matthew, and Destiny Scott all of Chatsworth, Sara, John, and Amelia Gibson of Resaca: great-grandchildren, Brayson, Nekoda Owens, Jax, and Ramsey Scott: siblings, Gail Waters of Resaca, Donnie Walker Dalton, and Nancy Cline of Chatsworth: several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the family of Buddy Martin and all her special friends for their love and support during this difficult time.

Funeral services for Rebecca will be Saturday, at 10:00 AM June 27, 2020, in the Chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home, with  Rev. Shane Bailey, Rev. Bruce Edwards, and Rev.Jeff Johnson officiating. Interment will be in the Spring Place Memorial Gardens. The family will receive  Friday, June 26, 2020, from 5 to 9 PM.
