Mr. Ray Hedden, affectionally know as Pops, went to his heavenly home on January 15, 2021, after overcoming the fight with Covid-19, but sadly lost the battle with Parkinson’s Disease and Dementia. He lived 76 blessed years, and he passed peacefully surrounded by his loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Denada Hedden; parents, Riley and Ruth Hedden; twin brother, Fay Hedden; sisters, Loretta Hedden, Gloria Giles, and son in law Scott Brendel.
He is survived by his children, Jesse Faulknor, Michael Hedden, John (Karen) Hedden, Sandra Hedden Brendel, Matthew Newton and family, Bridgett Al Sallal and family, David Newton and family, Ashley (Lee) Gaska; sisters, Janet (Bobby) Mathis, Helen Hammontree, Betty (George) Sadosuk, and Pat McHan of Alabama; brothers: Charles (Janet) Headden, Riley Hedden, and Larry (Rhoda) Hedden; Grandchildren, Tiffany McDaniel, Jay Brendel, Taylor (Tanner) Wilcox, Avah, Allison and Kamrin Hedden, Trevor (Tiffany) Cox; great-grandchildren Hayden, Kasen, Scottlin, AnnaBelle, Sawyer and Sophie. His church family at Grace Bible Church. A host of other relatives and friends also survive.
