Randi Mechelle Philyaw Boling, 58, of Chatsworth, Georgia, entered into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, early Saturday morning, October 4, 2025, surrounded by family and friends.

She was the daughter of the late Randall Philyaw and Marleen Hewitt and stepdaughter of the late Charles Hewitt.

Randi, affectionately known as Tan or Tan-Tan, is survived by her mother, Marleen, her husband, Cal Boling, sister and brother-in-law, Angie and Russell (Rusty) Bronson, sister Tonya McMullen, sister and brother-in-law, Kristy and John McKenzie, and brother and sister-in-law, Randall (Phil) and Sheri Luann Philyaw. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, as well as many great friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Randall Philyaw, her stepfather, Charles Hewitt, and brother-in-law, Duane McMullen.

Randi attended Southeast Whitfield High School and worked primarily in the carpet industry for many years. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church and loved Jesus Christ with her whole heart. She loved everyone she ever met and was always there to support her family and friends.

Tan loved her family more than anything in this world and loved to share how blessed she was through the grace of Almighty God. She was also a dog lover to the core and enjoyed many wonderful times with her beloved Tobe White Toes and her latest love, Bella.

Tan was a hard worker in all that she did, loved working with her flowers, camping in the outdoors, and, most of all, spending time at the beach with her family.

A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 2 pm in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with the Revs. John McKenzie and Rusty Langford officiating. The interment will be in the Murray Memorial Garden. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Flowers are accepted, or memorial donations may be made to the Floor Covering Industry Foundation in her honor.
