Ralph Howard Lawson, age 84, of Chatsworth, born October 14, 1939, passed away on April 19, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Katie (Parker) Lawson's daughters, Katie Ellen Parker Lawson, and stepdaughters, Cheryl Thomas (she has 2 children and 4 grandchildren) and Dianna Jones (she has 2 children and 9 great-grandchildren). 

His children survive him, Ralph S. Lawson, (he has 5 children and 3 grandchildren) Ray K. Lawson, (he has 4 children)  Step-daughter Edith M. Toler,( she has 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild).

Ralph married Katie Lawson on March 26, 196. His favorite things were church, his family, hunting, fishing, sitting on the porch, long talks with his wife, and the occasional hot rod. He was an inspiration to all.

A service to honor the life of Ralph Howard Lawson will be at 2 pm Thursday, April 25, 2024, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home. The interment will be in the Center Valley Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 am to 2 pm.
