Mr. R L  Vineyard, age 72, of Chatsworth, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024, in Hamilton Medical Center.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Vineyard; son, Nelson Vineyard; parents, Henry and Jewel Vineyard; and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and Alex Williams, April and Adam Brown, and Tera and Marty Morgan; daughter-in-law Amy Vineyard; grandchildren, Faleedra and Nathan Fincher, Jason and Amber Yarbrough, Clarinda Vineyard, Austin and Courtney Williams, Kailey Williams, Blade and Shelby Lequire, Sarah Deakins, Skyla Brown, Keershton and Samuel Camara, and Kihya Morgan, many great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

A service to honor the life of RL Vineyard will be at 3 pm Sunday, February 4, 2024, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home. The interment will be in the Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, February 4, 2024, from 11 am to 3 pm.
