Peggy Sue Silvers Cantrell, 55, of Chatsworth, passed away on January 9, 2025, at Gordon County Hospital.

Peggy was born on October 6, 1969 to Larry and Lucille Davenport from Ellijay. Peggy went on to get married in 2002 to Jerry Cantrell Sr.

Peggy was preceded in death by her biological father Ricky Silvers of Dalton and brother Roy Davenport of Ellijay.

She is survived by both her mother and stepfather, Larry and Lucille Davenport of Ellijay; her husband Jerry Cantrell Sr. of Chatsworth; her daughter and son-in-law Jesse and Vivian Rymer of Ellijay; son Larry Cox of Chatsworth; son Melton Cox of Ellijay; daughter April Cox of Dalton; stepdaughter Chrity Cantrell of Chatsworth; step-son Michael Cantrell of Chatsworth; step son and daughter in law Christopher and Sandy Cantrell of Varnell; step-son Jerry Cantrell Jr. of Kentucky; Ann Davenport, of Chatsworth sister Angie Davenport of Chatsworth; sister Aspin Davenport; sister Susie Cantrell of Chatsworth; brother Leon Davenport of Rome; 18 grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Services to honor the life of Peggy Sue Cantrell will be on Wednesday, January 15.2025.at 2 pm  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation toward her final expenses.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 11 am to 2 pm.
