Peggy Joyce Mashburn, age 80 of Dalton went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, August 24, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.
Peggy is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Catherine Burns; husband, Bobby Mashburn; granddaughter, Keri Ann Joyce; sisters, Vicki Sumner, and Joan Smith.
She is survived by her loving husband, Floyd Bartlett; son and daughter-in-law, Kelly and Susan Joyce; siblings and spouses Gary and Jeanette Burns, Tony Burns, Jerome, and Sue Burns, Jennifer Crisp, Kathy Burns, Ronnie and Regina Burns, Tami and Junior Weaver, Greg and Robin Burns; grandchildren Kelly Joyce Jr. Trey Greeson; 8 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
A funeral service to honor the life of Peggy Mashburn will be at 1 pm on Saturday, August 27, 2022, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home, with Rev. Ted Miller, Shana Whitefield. and Kelly Joyce officiating. Interment will be at Maple Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 26, 2022, from 5 pm to 8 pm.
