Mrs. Peggy Jackson, age 82, of Chatsworth, went home to be with the Lord on September 9, 2025.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Willard Jackson; son, Thomas Jackson; daughter, Telena Barton; parents, John and Gertrude Smith; brothers, Edward, J.M., Doug, and T.J. Smith

She is survived by her daughter and son and law, Genia and Terry Davis; granddaughters, Crystal Davis, Courtney, and Michael Garner and Jessica and Daniel Smith; grandson, Cameron Davis; great-grandchildren, Gabbie, Delilah, Eleanor, Emelia, Maddison, Valerie, Cooper, and Hunner; several nieces and nephews, and cousins also survive.

A service to honor the life of Peggy Jackson will be at 2 pm on September 12, 2025, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with  Rev.Mark Bowen and Rev.Lamar Beason officiating. The interment will be at Holly Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
