Otis Richard Jones

Otis Richard Jones, age 85, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 17, 2021, surrounded by his family.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Etna Jones: brother, Bill Jones; sister, Janette Defoor: daughter-in-law Chris Jones.

He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia Davis Jones: sons, Michael Jones Mitchell Jones: son and daughter in law Marshall ( Harley) and Melinda Jones: daughter Kim Bearden: grandchildren, Heath and Tara Jones, Chase and Kandace Jones, Jennifer and Josh Burgess Shane and Krista Jones, Ryan Jones and Sadaf Salari, Josh and Casey Jones, Dustin and Laura Jones, Blake and Joslyn Jones, Gates Bearden: brother and sister in law Roy and Peggy Jones: brothers and sisters in law, Hershall and Beverly Davis, Marvin and Tracy Davis, Doug and Sandra Davis: brother, Jimmy Davis: sisters in law and brother in law Gwen Walker and Janette and John Mullins.

The funeral services for Mr. Jones will be Monday, April 19, 2021, at 2 pm in the Chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral  Home with Rev. Mark Carr officiating. The interment will be in the Sardis Cemetery. The Family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 12 pm to 2 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Chatsworth, 121 West Market Street Chatsworth GA.
