Mitchell Robin Jones

Mitchell Jones, age 71 went home to be with his wife and Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 4, 2026.

He is preceded in death by the Love of his life Chris Jones; father Richard Jones; and brother Michael Jones.

He is survived by his children Heath and Tara Jones, Jennifer and Josh Burgess, and Chase and Kandace Jones; grandchildren Jillian and Kenzie Jones, Brady (Kinley Head) and Mason(Skylar Guxton) Burgess; great grandchild Krue Burgess; mother Billie Faye Jones; brother Marshall “Mark” and Melinda Jones; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

A service to honor the life of Mitchell Jones will be held Thursday July 9, 2026 at 11 am in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with John Paul Burdashaw officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday July 8, 2026 from 5pm to 8pm.
