Michael George Slaton, age 61 passed away on November 13, 2022, at Advent-Heath Murray Hospital.

Preceded in death by his daughter, Christina Slaton; father, Guy Slaton; mother, Margaret Amos; sisters, Connie Rogers, and Debra Mashburn; brother, Marles Rhoden.

Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Josh and Kim Slaton, of Chatsworth: sisters Jane Brown (Billy)of Dalton; Donna Jones of Hazlehurst GA: brother, Patrick Slaton of Chatsworth; aunt and uncle Paul and Dorothy Williams of Dalton; special friend, Sherry Young; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service to honor the life of Michael George Slaton will be 5 pm Tuesday, November 15, 2022, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Beach officiating.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, from 2 pm to 5 pm.
