Michael Joseph Popp, age 37, of Chatsworth passed away at Erlanger Medical Center.

Michael served in United States Marine Corp.

He loved all his family and always put them first. He loved the beach, camping, fishing, any outdoors activity with children. He loved his daughter and son more than anything, along with his wife. The next best thing is his nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Rosemary Popp of MN, Joseph Popp of MN, Shirley Hatt of IN, Tim Smith Sr. of IN; niece Zoe Nakejia Kallista Hatt of Canton GA.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Popp; daughter, Mackynzie Popp and Trystin Popp all of Chatsworth; mother and stepfather, Linda and Eugene Justen Jr. of Acworth GA; sister, Annette Hatt; brother in law, Shawn Hatt both of Canton GA; sister and brother- in- law, Nancy and David Lomax of Rocky Face GA; father-in-law and mother in-law Steve and Annette Green of Chatsworth GA; sister- in law- and brother- in- law, Ashley and Jason Reeb of Ellijay GA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Nicholas and Morgan Green of Ringgold GA; nieces and nephews, Eva, Ethan, Kaden, Isaiah, Nehemiah, Naomi, Ruth, and baby Green.

A service to honor the life of Michael Joseph Popp will be 3pm Friday, February 17,2023 in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home, with Nicholas Green speaking.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday February 17,2023 from 2 pm to 3 pm.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Shawn Chapman Funeral Home to go toward his final expences.
